The 6th Kenya International Industrial Expo and Kneya Investment & Trade Fair was successfully held at the Sarit Expo Center in Nairobi from September 21st to 23rd. This expo has received support from the Kenya Investment Authority, Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Economic and Commercial Counselor’s Office of the Chinese Embassy in Kenya, Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce, Jiangxi Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Henan Provincial Department of Commerce, Henan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce,Linyi Trade City Construction Material Market, Narok County Government, Kiambu County Government and Mulanca County Government.

Pius Rotich, Director of the Kenya Investment Authority, Ronald Meru, Chairman of Diplomacy and Economics of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Zeng Hui, Second Secretary of the Economic and Commercial Counselor’s Office of the Chinese Embassy in Kenya, Henan Provincial Industry and Commerce Department. Bai Bugang, deputy director of the Information Department, Chen Lingyun, director of the Trade Promotion Department of the Jiangxi Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and Wang Congqi, deputy secretary-general of the Jining Municipal People’s Government, attended the opening ceremony and cut the ribbon.

This exhibition attracted more than 200 companies from Shandong, Jiangxi, Henan, Zhejiang, Hubei, Hebei and other regions to participate in the exhibition, with an exhibition area of more than 5,000 square meters. The exhibits include machinery and equipment, CNC machine tools, vehicles and accessories, building materials, hardware tools, photovoltaic new energy, chemical industry, printing and packaging, light industry and daily consumer goods and other industries.

In order to further promote two-way economic and trade exchanges between China and Kenya, the exhibition also set up an exhibition area for Kenyan export commodities, attracting more than 20 Kenyan specialty product export companies in flowers, coffee, black tea, handicrafts, fruits, food and other industries.

During the exhibition, it received a total of more than 24,000 visitors from Kenya and neighboring countries such as Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Somalia, including more than 4,800 VIP buyers who were targeted and accurately invited. The intended transaction volume of the exhibition reached more than 87 million US dollars.

In order to ensure the effectiveness of the exhibition, the organizer carried out a lot of publicity and promotion and precise invitations before the exhibition.
